the Himalayan Tradition
The Art of Fulfilling Your Nature
A new collection of the work of Justin O'Brien, PhD (Swami Jaidev)
Spanning several decades and ranging from the intellectual to the playful, this new anthology of Swami Jaidev's work features articles, talks, poetry, and Q&A. Journey with him as he explores the life of Thomas Aquinas, contemplates ancient Greek philosophy, reflects on the Tao Te Ching, and demystifies the master-disciple tradition.
The Art of Fulfilling Your Nature is a brilliant gem of wisdom gained through a lifetime of spiritual exploration and scholarship. I highly recommend this wonderful and insightful book to any and all who are interested in their own personal and spiritual development.

Yoga and Spirituality
IHT is dedicated to fostering the spiritual and daily well-being of students inspired by the holistic teachings of Swami Rama of the Himalayas and the Tradition of the Himalayan Sages.
The Institute of the Himalayan Tradition® was inaugurated as a spiritual teaching center by the saint His Holiness Swami Rama of the Himalayas. One of the rare yoga masters of the world, he was born in the Garhwal Himalayas, raised by the yogic master, Bengali Baba, and trained in the 5000-year-old Himalayan Yoga Tradition, the oldest, non-broken tradition of spirituality in the world. Sent to the West to teach in 1969, Swami Rama demonstrated the scientific basis of yoga’s wisdom and body-mind control at the Menninger Foundation and many universities.
Swami Jaidev and Ma Devi, long-time disciples and close companions of Sri Swami Rama, founded IHT St. Paul and served as spiritual directors.
